CHENNAI, Feb 14: The prices of urad dal, moong dal, sugar and maida increased rest all other commodities remain unchanged in the whole foodgrain market here today.
Urad dal went up Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 7,400 from the previous rate of Rs 7,100.
Moong dal moved up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,600 from its previous level of Rs 9,400.
Sugar increased by Rs 70 per quintal to Rs 2,870 from Rs 2,800.
Maida edged up by Rs 20 per quintal to Rs 2,480 from its previous level of Rs 2,500.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities today (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,000 Urad Dal Rs 7,400 Moong Dal Rs 9,600 Gram Dal Rs 3,800 Sugar Rs 2,870 Wheat Rs 2,500 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,600. (AGENCIES)
