Prices end steady in tight movements

NEW DELHI, Aug 6:  There was not much activity at the wholesale pulses market as prices by and large moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks position against scattered deals kept prices steady.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 9,300-10,700, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 9,500-9,600, Urad best Rs 9,600-10,100, Dhoya Rs 10,000-10,300, Moong Rs 5,200-5,700, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,750-6,150, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,150-6,650 and best quality Rs 6,650-6,850.
Masoor small Rs 6,000-6,200, bold Rs 6,050-6,250, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,450-6,950, best quality Rs 6,550-7,050, Malka local Rs 7,100-7,400, best Rs 7,200-7,500, Moth Rs 5,150-5,550, Arhar Rs 7,600, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 10,400-12,100.
Gram Rs 7,900-8,100, Gram dal (local) Rs 8,300-8,500, best quality Rs 8,600-8,700, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 3,700, Rajdhani Rs 3,700, Rajma Chitra Rs 5,300-6,350, Kabuli Gram small Rs 9,700-10,100, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 3,700-3,725 and green Rs 3,900-4,000.
