JAMMU, Mar 9: Prevest DenPro Limited, a leading Indian manufacturer of dental materials was today bestowed with MSME of the Year Award in 8th MSME Excellence Awards & Summit organized by ASSOCHAM at New Delhi.
The award was received by Atul Modi, Managing Director (MD) and Namrata Modi, Executive Director (ED) from Minister of MSME Narayan Tatu Rane and BB Swain, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, in the presence of a large number of dignitaries, officials and representatives of industries and commerce.
ASSOCHAM MSME Excellence Awards recognize and honor MSME enterprises for their pioneering efforts and contributions made to various segments of economy through their achievements and performance. Prevest DenPro which has a successful business track record of manufacturing high quality of dental materials and global presence in more than 80 countries was chosen for the category of MSME of the year.
Namrata Modi expressed happiness to receive this prestigious award and said, “We are happy that our efforts are recognized and appreciated at national level for our contribution to the Indian economy”. She further said that the company has received many awards for outstanding performance in the past and they are very proud of being awarded with this MSME of the year award.
Atul Modi said that Prevest DenPro Limited has made pioneering efforts in developing high quality of dental materials indigenously and making them popular worldwide. He further said that their products comply with European standards. “Some products have been approved by USFDA and we are going through the process of getting USFDA approvals for more products,” he added.
He further stated that the company is the 1st Dental company to be successfully listed on BSE SME Exchange and is now poised for rapid growth with diversification into oral hygiene, oral care and biomaterial products. The company is also setting up a state-of-the-art research center for developing innovative dental materials to be in pace with the growing needs of modern dentistry.
