NEW DELHI:President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday paid homage to former president Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed on his birth anniversary at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, an official release said.
The President, officers and staff of Rashtrapati Bhavan paid floral tributes in front of a portrait of Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed.
Born on this day in 1905, he was the fifth President of India from 1974 to 1977. He died in office on February 11, 1977. (AGENCIES)
