SHOPIAN, JUNE 15: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz today chaired a meeting of Head of institutions, Centre Superintendents and concerned Officers at Conference Hall of DC Office Shopian here for conducting JKSSB Examinations, scheduled to be held on 23rd of June in the district.
During the meeting, it was informed that around 3545 candidates are expected to appear in the written examination at 10 centers across the District.
For the smooth, free and fair conduct of examinations, 10 Magistrates, Observers, Superintendents and 1 Dy. Superintendent each have been deployed in the district.
Deliberations in the meeting focused on roles, responsibilities and coordination of manpower, meticulous arrangement of basic facilities, especially elaborate security arrangements, logistics for transportation, safekeeping of examination materials and efficient traffic management.
ADC said that role and responsibility of Superintendent is of much importance as he plays a pivotal role in this regard.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC said that fair and transparent examinations are the top most priority of the district administration.
Among others the meeting was attended by the College Professors, Lecturers and other concerned.
