JAMMU, Dec 25: Prajapati (Kumhar) Sabha celebrated the birth anniversary of Mata Yadhe by organizing “Nari Sammelan” at Sant Shree Gora ji Bhawan here today.
The programme was celebrated under the presidentship of Ayodhya Kumar Manawa, in which large number of women participated from different parts of Jammu region.
Des Raj Tyagi threw light on the life and teachings of Shree Yadhe Mata Ji.
Various women speakers including Manju Bala and Suman Bala expressed their views regarding the role of women in the society and laid stress for the empowerment of women through education.
They appealed the society to raise their voice against the exploitation of the women and female foetus abortions.
On the occasion, mementoes were distributed among the students of the community.
In the end, Manju Bala presented vote of thanks.
