Prajapati Sabha celebrates 698th Prakash Utsav of Sant Sri Gora

JAMMU, Feb 27: Jammu and Kashmir Prajapati Sabha (JKPS) celebrated 698th Parkash Utsav of Sant Sri Gora Ji Maharaj at Prajapati Bhawan, Jammu with great fervor and enthusiasm.
A function was organized on the occasion under the chairmanship of Ayoudhya Kumar Manawa (president of the Sabha), who was the chief guest while MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, ex-MoS Priya Sethi, ex-MLA Rajesh Gupta and Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta. A large number of devotees from all districts of Jammu Division attended the function.
All the guests paid floral tributes to Sant Gora Ji Maharaj and prayed for peace and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The function started with Arti, followed by Bhajan and Kirtan. Raghubir Singh Rajasansi (National president of Kumbhkar Sangh), Swami Ram Muni Ji Maharaj (Haridwar), Baba Gurudev Singh (Amritsar) and Pritam Bhardwaj (Delhi) were the prominent social workers of Prajapati community from outside J&K that attended the function.
On the occasion, J&K Prajapati Sabha also celebrated its Golden Jubilee. The Sabha honoured meritorious students, scholars of different faculties, galaxy of achievers such as IAS, IPS, JKAS, Professors, Doctors, Engineers, State & National awardees and PRI Panchs & Sarpanchs. Besides, the Sabha also honoured couples from the Community who has completed 50 years of their marriage.
FC Satia, general secretary of the Sabha conducted proceedings of the programme. He was assisted by Dr Nek Ram.
The function culminated after serving ‘Parsad’ to one and all.
