JAMMU, Apr 1: Pradeep Khanna, Lecturer in Education Department, attained his superannuation yesterday at Poonch.
The students and admirers of Pradeep Khanna, a renowned cultural activist and literary figure, arranged a gathering here in his honour here today.
Those present in the gathering included Dr Javed Rahi, Dr Farooq Anwar Mirza, Dr Shahnawaz Chowdhary, Dr Liqat Jafri, Rahat Kazmi, Dr Vivek Arya, Kumar Sourabh, Swami Antarneerav, Prof Iftikhar Khan, Mrs Bimlesh Kour, Neharika Kour, Tanveer Dar, Zeeshan Kazmi etc.
Meanwhile employees of Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) today accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Mohammad Maqbool, Junior Auditor, on his superannuation after rendering 37 years services to the Board. Secretary KVIB Mir Afroz was the chief guest of the farewell function.
