JAMMU, May 27: A meeting of Prabandhak Committee, Kheer Bhawani Asthapan,Manzgam was held here today to review the arrangements of annual mela to be held on June 6.
The Committee has made an appeal to DDC Kulgam to issue instructions to the concerned departments for suitable arrangements as usual like supply of ration, gas cylinders, medicare facilities and security besides proper arrangements for power and water supply in the Shrine.
The Committee has also made appeal to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to make arrangements for buses for pilgrims as the yatra will proceed from Muthi on June 4.
It was decided that pooja and Sandoor ceremony will be performed at the auspicious Sandal tree on the hill top at the holy shrine on June 5 and havan will start at 7 pm on the same day and Puran Ahuti will be held on June 6 afternoon.
It may be recalled that Jaisht Ashtami being one of the auspicious festivals of KPs is celebrated at Manzgam since 2007.
