JAMMU, July 4: United Forum of Provincial Power Employees Union Jammu and Power Sector Pensioners Forum held a joint meeting under the chairmanship of Shakti Gupta at Srinagar.
The meeting showed grave concern for implementation of SRO-59 on pick and choose basis leaving aside Government order and directives of the High Court.
The participants strongly urged the Principal Secretary to Government PDD, Managing Director PDC and Development Commissioner Power for removal of un-necessary delaying, avoiding and discriminatory policies so that unpleasant atmosphere and anomalies created by implementation of court orders on pick and choose basis are removed and pensioners and employees are not compelled to come on streets.
Besides Shakti Gupta, others who participated included Yashpal Gupta, Ghulam Ahmad Shah, G H Kulgami, Mohammad Amin Khan, M Ismail Gujri, Abdul Rashid Wani, Ghulam Nabi Zargar, G Q Khan etc.
