JAMMU, June 13: A deputation of Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) headed by Shakti Gupta, chairman, Ajaz Kazmi, Sanjeev Bali, Ram Lal, Rakesh Kumar and Satpaul met with Ajay Gupta, Chief Engineer , EM&RE Wing, Jammu and discussed demands.
The demands discussed were regarding adjustment/promotion of Junior Assistant to Senior Assistant, implementation of SRO-59, seniority list of skilled workers/employees, wages of Daily Wagers/need basis, make compulsory DPC as per Government orders of all categories after every six months, caderization of District/ Divisional/State, chairman of DPC recommends the promotion of ITI field staff on the basis of 50-50% from ITI Trained/non ITI staff.
Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing, Jammu listen and discussed point wise above mentioned all the demands and assured to consider all the demands at the earliest.
