MENDHAR, Mar 24: The power supply to nearly seven villages in Gursai area was snapped after a power receiving station was burnt in an accident last night.
The incident took place at Famra Nad village where a power receiving station has been set up. There was no one at the Station when the mishap took place. The cause of fire was not known but the insiders said that possibility of sabotage can not be ruled out. The people alleged that no PDD employee stays there during the night. And one Mohd Rashid who rushed there after accident from his home, fell down on the way and received injuries on the head. He has been hospitalised. The loss of property is being ascertained. The supply to nearly half a dozen villages has been affected with this.
