JAMMU, July 3: Due to flushing of reservoir at Salal Hydro Electric Project as planned by NHPC on intervening night of July 4th and 5th from 0000 hours to 2000 hours there will be shortage of power as per the allocation of Salal project i.e. about 185-200 MW for which rotational curtailment will have to be resorted.
The curtailment schedule of feeders affected due to outage of Salal Hydro Electric Project on July 5 are non essential feeders emanating from Railway Complex, JDA affecting Gandhi Nagar area from 12 mid night to 1 am, 7 am to 8 am & 2 am to 3 pm.
Nanak Nagar, Miran Sahib & R. S. Pura areas from 1 AM to 2 AM, 8 AM to 9 AM & 3 PM to 4 PM.
Jakh, Vijaypur, Kartholi, Residency, Part of Khatikan Talab & Part of Gujjar Nagar areas from 2 AM to 3 AM, 9 AM to 10 AM & 4 PM to 5 PM. Part of Gujjar Nagar, Wazarat, Dhounthly, Link Road, Jain Bazar, R. S Pura & Miran Sahib areas from 3 MN to 4 AM, 10 AM to 11 AM & 5 PM to 6 PM. Channi-Himmat, Sainik Colony, Muthi, Udheywala, Machilian, Bohri, Thathar & Bantalab areas from 4 MN to 5 AM, 11 AM to 12 Noon & 6 PM to 7 PM.
Roop Nagar, Subash Nagar, Jindrah, Phalata and Reasi areas from 5 AM to 6 AM, 12 Noon to1 PM & 7 PM to 8 PM.
Janipur, New Plot, Resham Ghar, Rehari, Dogra Hall, Raghunath Bazar and Trikuta Nagar and Greater Kailash areas from 6 AM to 7 AM, 1 PM to 2 PM and 8 PM to 9 PM.
