JAMMU, Apr 11: In order to carry out works regarding 132 KV Beam structure to facilitate DC Railway traction work and other allied works at 132/66 KV Grid Station Samba, 132/66 KV Grid Station Samba will remain shut on March 12 and 13 from 9 am to 3 pm.
As intimated by the Chief Engineer, S&O Wing Jammu during the shutdown period, the power supply to Samba town, industrial area, Bari-Brahmana, Ghagwal, Vijaypur and other adjoining areas will remain affected.
However, the power supply to Grid Station Bari-Brahmana-II will be met from Gladni Grid Station during the shutdown period.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out shifting of existing 33 KV line LA on existing four pole structure at 33/11 KV R.Stn Sainik Colony, the power supply to the areas fed from said R/Stn. will remain affected on 14 April from 8 am to 11 am.
During the shutdown period, the power supply to Sainik Colony, Chowadhi and its adjoining areas will remain affected.
