Manhas sanctions Rs 1.5 cr for development works

JAMMU, Apr 11: Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas along with Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation Soujanya  Sharma visited Paloura area and sanctioned funds for the development and beautification works.
A sum of Rs 1.5 crore stands sanctioned by the Member of Parliament for development and beautification work of Pond, Community Park in Paloura and for the construction of benches at Aap Shambu Road in Roop-Nagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that he is committed for the developmental activities in whole of the Jammu City. He said, “beautification and public convenience facilities are more important as it keeps environment clean and gave a good atmosphere to the people”.  He said that beautification of Pond at Paloura, benches for the people at Aap Shambu Road are the long pending demands of the residents of the area. He assured the people that his door will remain open for the general masses round the clock and they can approach any time to apprise him about their problems, grievances and can also give necessary feedback.
The prominent citizens and residents who were present on the occasion appreciated the Member of Parliament for sanctioning funds for beautification and development work.
Among others who accompanied Shamsher Singh Manhas were Hans Raj Mahajan, BJP Muthi-Paloura Mandal president, Bishan Sharma district Secetary  BJP Jammu Rural and others.
