SRINAGAR, Apr 29: Eshfaq-Ur-Rehman Poswal, State president of Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha has demanded Road connectivity network near Teetwal Forward Posts to avoid Ladakh like incursion in the area.
After visiting the villages Seemari, Khakhad, Kadhama, Totihaji and Faghwan areas of Teetwal block of district Kupwara, he urged upon PM Office to intervene in providing the basic facilities like road connectivity from Teetwal to Majmoon as it is just adjacent to PoK and under development of the area also gives wrong impression of the Government  to the people on other side. He said that the road is strategically important as it will help the defence forces in safeguarding the borders and situations like Ladakh incursions could be avoided by making these areas accessible through various means.
He also demanded that power supply in the villages falling near forward posts should be restored immediately as these areas are without electricity after 2005 earthquake snapped the supply line.
