Poswal demands immediate arrest of all separatist leaders

SRINAGAR, June 14: Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal, BJP leader and candidate from Karnah today castigated Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Chairman, Huriyat Conference, for misleading the people of State especially the peaceful Sikh community by promoting the separatists Khalistan forces. He was reacting on a meeting of Geelani with separatist Sikhs, held at Srinagar today.
Mr Poswal while addressing a press conference here today criticized Geelani for his role in provoking the Sikh community. He alleged that Geelani is responsible for instigating Sikh youth and is guilty for killings in Jammu recently wherein Sikh youth was killed.
He said the separatists  are against prosperity of State unity of different communities as they want to divide the people on communal lines.
He appealed Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to direct Police /Administration to arrest the separatist forces.
While expressing strong resentment over the statement of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq wherein he has threatened for long agitation over the issue of evocation of Muslims from Jammu, he said the Mirwaiz is shedding crocodile tears on the issue. He said the Jammu Muslims are Nationalist and not a part of separatism since 1947.
He demanded immediate arrest of all separatist leaders including  A S Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Yaseen Malik and others as they are instigating Jammu Muslims.
Others present in the press conference included Ch Bashir-ud-din Banya, Ch Abdul Hameed Kasana, Ch Nek Alam and Ch Farid.
