JAMMU, Mar 1: Government today upgraded posts of Director SKPA Udhampur and DIG Prisons J&K, consequent upon the transfer and posting of Garib Dass and Vikas Gupta on these posts, respectively, vide Government Order Number 09-Home of 2023 dated 06-01-2023.
As per the Order, the post of Director SKPA Udhampur held by Garib Dass (IPS) has been declared equivalent in the rank and status to that of Additional Director General of Police, with effect from 06-01-2023, till it is held by the said officer.
Further, the post of DIG Prisons J&K held by Vikas Gupta (IPS) has been declared equivalent in the rank and status to that of Deputy Inspector General of Police, with effect from 06-01-2023, till it is held by the said officer.
