JAMMU, Dec 15: Strange it may sound but it’s a fact that exam of Sociology subject of Higher Secondary Part-II (12th Class) annual for winter zone and bi-annual for summer zone, which had been postponed by the authorities of Board of School Education (BOSE) to December 18 was conducted today at not one but two centres of Kathua district.
The two centres, where the examination was conducted, included Government High School and Manu Shiksha Niketan School, Rajbagh.
Deputy Secretary, BOSE, district Kathua, RS Charak confirmed that the paper was conducted in two centres of Rajbagh area where 13 students appeared. He said that the paper was conducted due to communication gap.
“Despite postponement of Sociology paper of Higher Secondary Part II (12th class), it was conducted in two centres of the district, creating chaos and confusion for the students not only in Kathua but other parts of Jammu province”, sources said.
The paper, which was scheduled to be held on December 18, had been postponed and will now be held on December 30, as per a BOSE statement. However, the time and venue will remain unchanged, it said.
