Sir,
Gone are the days, when people were feeling proud of having as many children as possible. At present when the cost of everything has already skyrocketed, feeding a child properly while bearing the cost of his education has really become a tough task for every mediocre family. While looking at the cutthroat competitions, even well off parents having small kids are worried about the future adjustments of their kids. But on the other hand, there are families( irrespective of the caste, creed and colour and religion) who are really working as production houses and keep on generating children one after the other without even thinking once about their nourishment, education and most importantly their adjustments in future in this technology-oriented world of competitions.
In the present world of development, a child with malnourishment and no or low education will definitely face tough challenges in life. And hence in order to avoid any such situation, it is the need of the hour to keep the size of every individual family small. And for this, first of all, parents have to agree upon the small family size. That’s why most of the educated families have 1 or 2 children only.
The slogan, Hum Do……Humare Do was given a long time back but nothing fruitful has been seen till date. If not controlled, soon ours’ will become the most populated country in the world. So it is the right time for the present state and central governments to take some strict actions to control this population explosion in our country. The slogan Hum Do…Humare Do remains meaningless if not adopted by all. Before it is too late, the governments at all the levels( national, state and local) start working on this agenda without wasting anymore time because its not the question of any religion or caste or region but it is the matter of national development.
Yours etc..
