KISHTWAR, Sept 4: The residents of village Mungly in tehsil Warwan of district Kishtwar are facing lot of inconvenience due to poor signalling in the area.
According to ex-Chairman Panchyat and member of civil society, Warwan, Wali Mohammed Rather said that people face hardships due to poor signalling and many times they brought this issue in the notice of higher authorities of BSNL as well as Jio authorities but to no avail. He said Jio tower is working but it has poor signalling while BSNL tower is totally defunct.
Rather said, people in emergency have to travel upto two to three kilometres near the tower to make a call which too is not audible. He said the area being very far away from district headquarter needs immediate attention. He urged both authorities of BSNL and Jio to look into the matter and ensure proper connectivity in the area so that people may have not to suffer in future.
