Poonch man held after return from PoK

JAMMU, Oct 4: Army today captured a civilian soon after he returned from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) through the Line of Control (LoC) at Kirni sector in Poonch district this morning.
He has been identified as Wali Mohamad, about 65, son of Nasar Din, a resident of Qasba.
SSP Poonch Shamsheer Hussain said police has taken custody of the intruder from the Army and lodged him in the police station, where a case has been registered against him. He was being questioned to ascertain his motive of crossing over to PoK in June 2012 and now return to Poonch after more than two years.
He was likely to be sent to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) for sustained questioning and to know whether he was linked to militancy or not.
