JAMMU, Oct 20: All the Government and recognized private schools in Jammu division shall observe Pooja Holidays from 22nd to 27th of October.
An order in this regard was issued today by the Director School Education Jammu, Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma, according to which, the Pooja Holidays shall be observed in all the Summer as well as Winter Zone schools in Jammu division.
However, the Chief Education Officers shall further ensure that activities undertaken in on-ongoing Jan Abhiyan under Back to Village (Phase 4) do not suffer and staff associated with the programme shall remain available during the vacation period.
