JAMMU, Nov 30: Alleging step-motherly treatment with the students studying in Polytechnic of Ramban, Reasi, Poonch and Rajouri, the NSUI State secretary Mehran Anjum Mir has demanded that examination centres of these students should be set up in their respective districts.
“If Polytechnic Kishtwar and  Doda are allowed to conduct the exams in native district,  then why the examination centres of  the other  Polytechnics,  including Ramban, Reasi, Poonch and Rajouri, have been  shifted to Jammu,” he asked while talking to media persons, here today.
He claimed that students from these colleges were not ready for exams in Jammu as they come from financially weak background.
The NSUI leader also threatened mass protest if the justice is denied to the students.
