Policewoman injured in firing in Pulwama

SRINAGAR, Nov 4:
A policewoman was injured in a firing incident in Pulwama district of south Kashmir today, police said.
A policewoman who was part of a team on Muharram duty, received a bullet injury in her shoulder near Jungle narh village, 35 kms from here, a police spokesman said.
He said the police party was deployed in the area in connection with Tazia procession of Muharram and was returning when the incident took place.
The spokesman said the lady cop has been hospitalised where her condition was stated to be stable. The incident is being investigated, he added. (AGENCIES)
