JAMMU, Mar 29: Police Transport Workshop Jammu branch of Technical Service Headquarters of Jammu and Kashmir Police has conducted a function at Sri Ranbir Higher Secondary School (SRHSS) here today, under Civic Action programme – 2014.
The function was attended by J S Manhas, Principal & all staff members of SRML including students studying in SRHSS.
Speaking on the occasion J.S.Manhas, Principal SRHSS Jammu appreciated the efforts of Ranjit Singh Sambyal, Sr Superintendent of Police, Police Transport Workshop Jammu for providing the computers to the school and said that such programmes will boost the morale of the students and inculcating them to respect the law, discipline and civil sense. He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to Sambyal for organizing such programmes.
Ranjit Singh Sambyal, KPS presented three HP Desktop computers to the school management for providing Information Technology facilities to the students of the School and distributed stationary items (School Uniforms, School Bags, Shoes Geometry Box and Pen) 47 students belonging to BPL families of Jammu. Mr. Sambyal in his speech advised the students to excel in studies & extra-curricular activities. He also assured the gathering that JK Police will continue to support the underprivileged students in their educational endeavour.
