LEH, Apr 19: Keeping its good work of policing, prevention, detection and investigation of crime, Police Station Leh which was declared as the best Police Station of UT Ladakh by the Ministry of Home Affairs in the annual ranking of Police Stations for the year 2020, was handed over with the award today by the DIG Leh-Kargil Range BS Tuti in the presence of SSP Leh Rajiv Pandey.
Congratulating the officers and jawans of Police Station Leh, BS Tuti appreciated the hard work and commitment of the Police Station team which helped them to get this prestigious award.
He also encouraged the officers to strive further and make their name in the top 10 list of national awards.
SSP Leh Rajiv Pandey also congratulated the Police Station team for this award which is first of its kind after the formation of UT Ladakh.
Besides DIG Ladakh and SSP Leh, the program was attended by AIG Personnel PHQ Ladakh, Stanzin Nurboo, SP Traffic Rafi Giri, SP Security Gaurav Mahajan, Additional SP Leh Puntsog Tashi and other officers of District Police and the PHQ.
SHO Leh Inspector Mohammad Yousuf welcomed the guests and also received the award on behalf of the Police Station team.
