KATHUA, May 20: Acting against illegal mining within the district, Kathua police today seized two dumpers indulged in illegal transportation of construction material at Pandori area of Police Post (PP) Nagri.

Sudhir Sadhotra, SHO, PS Kathua during patrolling/checking in its jurisdictional area at Pandori area today seized two dumpers which were involved in illegal mining, police said. The dumpers bearing registration Number PB06BC-4063 and JK08J-9977 were enrouted from Pandori towards Punjab and indulged in illegal transportation of construction material (Bajri) without any legal permission. Both the dumpers indulged in illegal mining were seized and immediately handed over to the officials of the Geological and Mining Department Kathua for further legal proceedings.
