RAJOURI, May 14: Rajouri police today rescued a youth namely Kalam Din S/o Makhan Din resident of village Kanara under the jurisdiction Police Station Nowshera, who is a farmer by occupation after he got trapped in flash flood in Jameer Nallah, Nowshera, in Rajouri district while crossing the Nallah.
On receiving the information, police swung into action under the supervision Additional SP Nowshera, Rakesh Kumar, and SDPO Nowshera Sugran Sukhla, IPS along with police party. They rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation. After hard efforts and putting their own life to risk, they finally managed to rescue the youth and thereby saving a precious human life. Local assistance from the Army units and the civilian was also sought. The family of the rescued person has applauded the role of police in saving precious human life.
