JAMMU, Nov 24: Cops at Police Station Nagrota near here rescued 13 bovine animals which were being illegally transported to Kashmir and seized the vehicle involved.
Under the supervision of Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh, SHO Police Station Nagrota, cops at a check point on National Highway at Nagrota stopped a Truck bearing number JK08F-2385 whose driver escaped leaving the vehicle which was seized by the police and on checking it 13 bovine animals were found loaded in a cruel manner with no food and water for them.
The cops rescued these animals and registered a case in this regard under the relevant sections of IPC.
