SRINAGAR, Apr 17: Police recovered a missing lady of Koreal Gujjar Basti here today.
A Police spokesman said that on Mar 19, one lady, Anwar Bibi, a resident of Koreal Gujjar Basti was missing from her home and after lodging a missing report in Police Station D.H.Pora, a special team was constituted lead by SHO Police Station D.H.Pora to trace out the missing lady.
He said after strenuous efforts by the police team, the lady was recovered here today from the illegal possession of one Liyakat Ahmad Khan, a resident of Bandipora.
“The accused has been arrested, case FIR No. 33/2018 U/S 366 RPC has been registered in P/S D.H.Pora and investigation has been set into motion. During the course of investigation it was found that the lady was kidnapped by the accused,” he said.
