Police recovers kidnapped school boy, no arrest so far

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday recovered the kidnapped minor boy but no arrest has been made so far in this connection.
“The boy has been recovered early this morning reportedly from Bari Brahmana area,” police sources here said.
They said that no arrest has been made so far but police is on its job.
IGP Jammu Zone Manish Kumar Sinha have also confirmed the recovery of the kidnapped boy. “Yes we have recovered the boy,” Mr Sinha said.
Anirudh Sharma, a class fifth student of Army School was kidnapped on Monday afternoon while he was returning from his school and was on way back to his residence.
As soon as he was dropped by the van in his lane, unidentified men travelling in a red colour van, abducted him.
The kidnappers later called his father and demanded a ransom of Rs one crore following which he lodged a complaint with the police and subsequently the investigation was started.
