SRINAGAR, Oct 27: Police recovered 30 quintals of Government rice and arrested the black marketer in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district today.
A Police spokesman said that based on a reliable information regarding black marketing of Government rice, a police party of Police Station Hajin conducted a raid on the residential house of Javeed Ahmad Malik, a resident of Gulshanabad Hajin and during search, about 30 quintals of Government rice, which were meant for public distribution were recovered.
The accused person was arrested and case was registered under relevant sections of law against him.
