SAMBA, Mar 15: Police in Samba district today claimed to have recovered a minor girl who went missing two days back.
On March 13, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Samba by the father of the missing minor girl, stating therein that his daughter disappeared from outside his home, a police official said.
On this, he said, a case FIR number 65/2025 was registered under section 137(2) of the BNS at Police Station Samba and investigation taken up to trace the missing girl.
Accordingly, a team of Police Post Mansar traced the minor girl using technical as well as human intelligence, he said.
After being produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Samba, the traced girl was handed over to her legal heirs after completing the legal formalities, added the police official.
