SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday paid floral tribute to two policemen, including a Head Constable, who were killed after a militant staged an attack outside a hospital in Srinagar to free a Pakistani militant from police custody.
A police spokesperson said that a wreath laying ceremony of Head Constable Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Dildar Karnah and Constable Babar Ahmad Khan resident of Shangus Achabal was held at District Police Lines Srinagar. “Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Munir Ahmed Khan led the police officers in laying the floral wreaths on the mortal remains of the martyrs,” he said.
