Police organizes lecture for school children

REASI, Sept 22: In a step ahead towards building confidence and overcome the gap between police and public, Indian Reserve Police (IRP) 1st Battalion today organized a special lecture for school children, under its Civic Action Programme.
The lecture was organized at Bharti Vidaya Mandir School (BVMS) Reasi about the bad menace of drug addiction, crime against women and cyber crime, which is commonly found in the society. The lecture was delivered by SP Vikram Singh Jamwal (Deputy Commandant of the Battalion).
Besides lecture, a public awareness programme was also organized as motivational lectures to youth especially school going children to inculcate a spirit of encouragement and interest in them for Police job.
Besides school staff and students, the programme was attended by SI Sanjeewan Jyoti, SI Rayees Ahmed Allie and ASI Gandharb Singh of IRP 1st Battalion.
