Police officers hold ‘Anti Drugs Prog’ in Janipur

JAMMU, July 26: Jammu Police today organized an `Anti-Drugs Programme’ at Janipur in which the students were made about serious harmful impact about the use of drugs.
SP Headquarters Romesh Kotwal, DySP Headquarters Sugandha Mahajan and SHO Janipur Inspector Varinder Gupta addressed the students and made them aware about the drug menace.
They called upon the students to spread awareness among their colleagues on the use of drugs, which can take toll of their lives and refrain from it for leading better life.
The police officers also utilized the occasion to apprise students about consequences of rash driving, wrong turns, driving without helmets, use of mobile telephones during driving etc.
The police officers hoped that the students would not only learn the lessons on drug abuse and over-speeding but also spread the message among their friends, relatives etc.
The students assured the police officers that they would follow the traffic rules and always say no to drugs.
