SRINAGAR, June 2: Police’s de-addiction center held awareness programmes in Government Girl’s higher secondary institute Sonwar and Usmania Model High School Buchpora in Srinagar.
A police spokesman said a team of mental health professionals from Police de-addiction services, comprising of Haris Kashmiri (Psychiatric social worker), and Zahid Jeelani Wani (counseling psychologist) educated the young students from both the schools about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The management from both the schools thanked the team for sharing valuable thoughts with the students and also appreciated the role of de- addiction service initiated by JK Police.
