Police conducts raid at Ex-SPO’s house

JAMMU, Mar 20: Police today conducted raid in the house of an Ex-Special Police Officer (SPO) at Gangyal and recovered large quantity of house hold items worth lakhs.
As per police sources, on suspicious grounds of involvement of Ex-SPO namely Raj Veer Singh, son of Charanjeet Singh, a resident of Model Town, Gangyal in the theft cases, which had taken place in Channi area of the winter capital in the recent past, police teams from Channi Himmat police station and Gangyal police station jointly conducted raid in the house of the Ex-SPO and recovered large quantity of house hold items worth lakhs.
The EX-SPO is evading his arrest and manhunt has been launched to arrest him.
Further investigation is going on.
The raid was conducted by SP South Rahul Malik, SDPO Trikuta Nagar Mohammad Rafiq, SHO Channi Himmat police station Aejaz Wani and SHO Gangyal police station Jasbir Singh.
