JAMMU, Mar 20: Project Model Higher Secondary School, Janipur celebrated annual sports day at Country Cricket Academy, unit of the School at Gharota, here today.
The event started with flag march by students followed by various sport events.
In 400 meter seniors, Rahul Manhas bagged gold, Saurabh Dubey, silver and Vishal Kumar claimed bronze, while in 400 meters junior’s, Swastik Sharma, Ajay Kumar and Agastya Sharma clinched gold, silver and bronze respectively.
In 200 meter seniors, Rahul Manhas, Saurabh Dubey and Arastu Sharma claimed the first three positions, while in 100 meters senior boys, Rahul Manhas, Arastu Sharma and Saurabh Dubey claimed first three spots respectively.
In 200 meter juniors, Agastya Sharma bagged gold.
In 100 meter senior girls, Richa Arya, Saima and Ranju bagged gold, silver and bronze respectively, while in girls sub-junior 60 meter sprint, Prita, Shriya and Saraswati claimed the first three positions respectively.
In boys sub junior 60 meter sprint, Manik Johar, Ajay and Ayush Gupta bagged gold, silver and bronze respectively.
Meanwhile, in cricket, Event Agastya XI defeated Swastik XI by a narrow margin.
Staff and Management took part in walk marathon , wherein Vaishali, Rajni Sharma and Maansi Sharma claimed the first three spots and in football match, Lakshya House defeated Vijay House by (2-1).
Manik Johar from the junior boys and Rahul Manhas from senior boys were declared as best athletes.
Prita from junior girls and Richa Arya from senior girls were adjudged as the best athletes.
