SRINAGAR, June 9: Police today conducted a surprise market checking and initiated an anti encroachment drive in Magam town of Budgam district today.
A Police spokesman said that Magam police in co-ordination with Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar Magam and Municipality Magam conducted a market checking. “The joint team removed many encroachments and seized some of the handcarts. The locals of the area hailed the efforts of police and civil authorities,” he said.
