Police books Asiya for observing Pak Day

SRINAGAR, Mar 25: Police today booked Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief, Asiya Andrabi, under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, for unfurling Pakistan flag and observing the Pakistan National Day on March 23.
A police officer told Excelsior that a case (FIR No. 14/ 2015 U/S 13 Unlawful Act and 120 B) has been registered against Andrabi in Police Station Nowhatta and matter is being investigated.
The DeM released a video to some news channels today in which Asiya said that she was surprised to know that police has booked her for hosting flag and singing Pakistani anthem.
“It is quite strange why they have booked me under Section 14 A. If this is a crime, this is not the crime which only Asiya Andrabi has committed. The entire Jammu and Kashmir has committed this crime,” Asiya said in the video.
Earlier yesterday, in a video released  to some news channels, She said that she hoisted Pakistan flag and observed Pakistan Day in Srinagar and her organization also observed Pak National Day at district headquarters.
