UDHAMPUR, May 15: Udhampur Police has attached an immovable property worth Rs 71 lakhs belonging to a drug peddler Jawaz Ahmed Wani of Akramabad, Doda, under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.
The attachment has been made in connection with FIR No. 32/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Rehambal. During the course of investigation, it came to fore that the accused had acquired the property from the proceeds of illicit narcotics trade.
Accordingly, the said property has been attached/seized under the provisions of Section 68-F of the NDPS Act for further legal proceedings, Police said.
