SAMBA, Mar 9: Samba Police has recovered a stolen buffalo and also arrested two persons in this connection.
According to police one person Prem Chand S/o Basant Ram R/o Bardhan Samba had lodged a written report at P/S Samba that some unknown thieves had stolen his buffalo from Bardhan few days back.
Police said a case FIR NO.41/17 U/S 379 RPC was registered at P/S Samba in this regard. During investigation in the case, the thieves namely Sadeeq Ahmed alias Siku S/o Mohd Din R/o Baderi near stone crusher and Sadiq alias Saleem S/o Kaku R/o Baderi were rounded up. During sustained interrogation they broke down and confessed that they have stolen the buffalo. On their disclosure the stolen buffalo was recovered and restored to its owner.
Both the thieves were arrested and detained for legal action.
