Samba, Jan 7 : District Police Samba has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 7.48 gms of Heroin (Chitta) like substance in the jurisdiction of Polise Station (PS) Vijaypur.
A Police party of PS Vijaypur during surprise check point established near Little Angel School, NHW Vijaypur, intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During his frisking, a total of 7.48 gms heroin (Chitta) like substance was recovered from his possession.
The accused was identified as AmanSlathia son of Charan Singh, resident of MandiGarh, GurhaSlathia, Vijaypur and was arrested on the spot. The contraband item was also seized.
In this regard case FIR No.04/2022 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation has been taken up.
