SAMBA, Aug 10: Samba police arrested an accused in attempt to murder case registered at Police Station, Ghagwal within 48 hours after commission of the crime.
According to the report, on August 8, a written complaint was lodged by one Sukhvir Kumar, S/o Rattan Chand of Madhoon, Rajpura stating therein that at around 6:30 pm his father Rattan Chand, S/o Manga Ram while returning home after feeding animals near brick kiln was attacked by one Danesh, S/o Keshav Singh of Madhoon, Rajpura with wooden lathi on his head with the intention to kill him causing grievous injuries on his person.
On this, a case FIR No. 83/2020 U/S 341/307/323 IPC got registered at Police Station, Ghagwal and manhunt was launched to nab the accused person.
After hectic efforts put forth by police team of PP Rajpura, the accused has been arrested from Malani, Rajpura .
Further investigation into the case is going on.
