Police arrests 2 drug peddlers, seizes heroin worth Rs 25,000

SAMBA, Sept 28: Samba police has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin worth Rs 25000 approximately from their possession.
The arrests have been made under the overall supervision of SSP, Samba Benam Tosh.
Police said the arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Neeraj Kumar alias Anku of Patoli Mangotrian, teh and district Jammu and Naklesh Verma of Kagote Ramnagar tehsil, Ramnagar, district Udhampur at present Patoli Mangotrian district Jammu.
A case FIR No. 231/2023 has been registered under relevant sections of NDPS ACT at Police Station, Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
SSP, Samba Benam Tosh said that 74 narco suppliers have been arrested by Samba Police in past eight months and several others have been booked under law.
