PoJK Visthapit Sewa Samiti holds meet

JAMMU, June 10: A meeting of PoJK Visthapit Sewa Samiti was held here today in which representatives of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Udhampur and Ramban participated.
District office bearers of these districts were also announced in the meeting.
Arun Chowdhary, secretary of the Samiti explained the objective of the Samiti.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Deepak Kapoor, Samiti president invited suggestions for the better functioning of the Samiti.
It was decided to form State level chapters and the Samiti asked its members to reach out to the left out families of PoJK displaced persons and help them to get financial assistance as the date for that has been extended till March 31, 2024.
The Samiti decided to aware the displaced persons of PoJK living in different States regarding registration and domicile certificates being issued by the office of Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) Jammu.
It was also decided to collect data regarding important religious places in PoJK, historical monuments, important personalities of PoJK etc.
