PNB MetLife’s insurance awareness program concludes

JAMMU, Oct 18: Six-day insurance awareness program conducted by PNB MetLife across 50+ villages in Jammu and Samba districts concluded.
The company reached out to 150,000 people through the road shows with close to 1200 people attending workshops on basics and importance of insurance.
Supported by J&K Bank and conducted in partnership with Insurance Foundation of India (IFI), an NGO, the insurance major continues to educate masses and help them become financially independent and self-sustaining.
40% of all attendees were females thereby providing a boost to the financial empowerment of women. During the workshops, the IFI trainer shared a presentation on the different aspects of insurance highlighting the need for insurance. Special emphasis was laid on answering audience’s queries to demystify insurance myths.
