PNB disburses loans under SME

JAMMU, May 14: In continuation to several measures initiated by the Bank in the recent past to make its schemes for Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) attractive, Punjab National Bank disbursed loans of Rs 8.82 lakh  to 50 beneficiaries.
A function in this regard was organized here today at JKEDI, Udyog Bhawan Jammu. where loans under different segments of SME like in Transport, Retail Trade, Artisan, Service Sectors were disbursed.
Speaking at the function, Mohd Latif Mir, Deputy General Manager Circle Head J&K Operations, informed that the bank has adopted aggressive and innovative strategies to make SME schemes customer-centric by evolving a robust credit delivery system. He further informed that the bank has tailored its various SME schemes to suit requirements of all types of customers at competitive interest rates and customers can avail hassle free loans up to Rs 1 crore without any third party guarantee or collateral security by simply paying a token guarantee fee/service charges for coverage under CGTMSE.
Mir further added that bank is encouraging women to come forward and is charging a concessional Rate of Interest with a flat 10 percent margin on these schemes.
A K Mota, Chief Manager Circle office,  S S Chib, District Coordinator PNB, large number of beneficiaries and staff members of the Bank were present at the function.
